what is an aesthetic attitude?

trying to write a philosophy paper is somewhat hard. i have no idea what i want to say about the article i read about aesthetic attitude. based on my reading (if i read it correctly) haha aesthetic attitude is the perception we perceive the world and the things around us. as Stolnitz decribes aesthetic attitude as "disinterested and sympathetic attitude" what he means by that is we fail to see what we are less interested in rather only to those we find interesting or catches out attention.....well that is all i can remember from my reading. i now must go back and reread what i read on thursday haha. which was yesterday, i wasnt really reading more like kinda reading haha. i dont think i fully understand what i read...but i was rereading the first few lines of the article and i actually understand now what he means by aesthetic attitude...well just that few sentences haha. i guess its one of those books/articles that we have to read a few times to fully grasp what the author is getting at.
