why?

is writing a philosophy paper so hard? i have no idea how to start it or go about it. all weekend i have been reading the essay on the aesthetic attitude to help understand what it is that he is trying to say. but no luck, so i made an attempt to write my essay on very little knowledge i had hoping that something will eventually come to mind. i made outlines and just jotting down whatever. so last night, at around 1130, i decided to change my topic to what is art according to plato, i jotted down some notes from the republic that we had to read and so far i got art according to plato is imitation, art mimics life and poetry corrupts the soul, it fools and deceive people into sympathizing and pretends to know all sorts of thing, therefore he means that if only we had knowledge to really see that it isnt real. blah blah. ok so how do i write to state that my view is better? i am thinking, just to have something done. i will write whatever haha. but i am going to causally mention that art is knowledge, art teaches us more than just poetry and poetry doesnt alwasy corrupts our soul, i will mention how art is both pleasure and beauty, there's beauty in everything, we just so happen to see it because we are often so caught up in our own problems. i will also state that art is in many forms. we have art, and we have fine arts...not including craft arts haha. art is a collective term encompassing pantings, sculptrure and archutecture blah blah blah
